Where boys become teammates, competitors, and leaders.
The 14U Boys team at Chula Vista Premier is designed for athletes ages 12–14 who are ready for a higher level of intensity, structure, and competition. At this stage, players sharpen core water polo skills, deepen their understanding of the game, and begin preparing for the high school and club-level demands ahead.
This program is about more than just wins—it’s about building strong teammates, disciplined athletes, and resilient young men who lead by example in and out of the pool.

Technical refinement in passing, shooting, positioning, and defense
Strategic play: counterattacks, zone defense, man-up/man-down scenarios
Physical development: strength, conditioning, and mental toughness
Emphasis on respect, leadership, and team accountability
Competitive tournament play throughout the season

Age for most events, is determined by the athlete's age on August 1st of the year the tournament takes place.

👨👩👧👦 Who Should Register?
This program is ideal for:
Athletes ages 12–14 with prior water polo or swimming experience
Middle schoolers preparing for high school water polo
Competitive athletes ready to commit to structured training
Boys looking to develop as leaders in a team-focused environment
Athletes must be able to swim 50 meters unassisted.
We welcome athletes from all schools in Chula Vista, San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, Bonita, and beyond.
📍 What to Expect:
3–5 practices per week
League games and travel tournaments
Regular coach feedback and team goal-setting
Growth mindset training: effort, attitude, and grit
